AC Leak? No reason for Team DMT to lose their cool!

Team DMT have had another busy week! Our latest mission – a call out for a leaky AC leaky unit! We thought we’d share our expert approach to tackling this new challenge with you. Spoiler alert: it was all because of a sneaky dislodged drainpipe!

Step 1: Finding the Culprit

First things first, we had to discover what was causing the AC leak. After a quick look, we found that the drainpipe had slipped out of place. Not good! We needed to get inside the unit to fix it, which meant cutting an access panel.

Step 2: Cutting the Access Panel

We carefully cut an access panel to reach the troublesome drainpipe. It might sound drastic, but it’s the best way to get in there without making a mess!

Step 3: Fixing the Drainpipe

With our new access point, we reattached the drainpipe securely and made sure everything else inside was in tip-top shape. No more leaks on our watch!

Step 4: Sealing It Up

Next, we put the access panel back in place, making sure it was as secure as the original. This part is like solving a puzzle – everything must fit just right!

Step 5: Making It Look Good

We remade the joints around the access panel to blend it perfectly with the rest of the unit. This is where the magic happens – you can’t even tell we were there!

Step 6: Final Touches

Finally, we painted over the area to match the rest of the unit. A fresh coat of paint hides all the evidence of our work, leaving everything looking spotless!

And there you have it! From diagnosing the leak to the final coat of paint, Team DMT made sure everything was perfect. If you ever have any AC leak issues, don’t lose your cool, give us a call!

When more technical issues arise, additional contractors often need to be sourced and managed separately,

Because Great Businesses Are Built on Great People…
